ISP Lookup

Find which internet service provider or organisation operates an IP address. Leave the box empty to check your own connection.

Tool status: Uses an external service Relies on a third-party API that may be rate-limited or temporarily unavailable.

What this tool can and cannot do

The ISP name comes from IP registration data. Smaller providers often lease addresses from larger carriers, so the name shown may be the wholesale network rather than the brand you pay.

Data sources: IPinfo Lite (free token) – fallback: registry RDAP

Understanding the results

If the result shows a cloud or hosting company (for example a data-centre operator) for your own connection, you are probably using a VPN, proxy, or corporate network.

Troubleshooting

  • The name is a company you have never heard of: resellers and regional ISPs frequently use address space registered to a parent carrier.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see my ISP's contact details?

The organisation and ASN shown can be used to find the network's abuse or support contact in the regional internet registry (RIR) database.
