What we do
IPandNet.com is a free collection of internet diagnostic tools for everyday users, IT support staff, website owners and network enthusiasts. You can check your public IP address, measure your connection speed, look up DNS records, test IPv6 support, find privacy leaks and generate a complete connection health report – without creating an account.
Our principles
- Real measurements only. Every number comes from an actual test. If something cannot be measured, we say so instead of guessing.
- Transparent limitations. Each tool explains what it can and cannot determine, which services it relies on, and where its data comes from.
- Privacy by design. We do not require registration, we do not store test results on our servers, and we keep third-party scripts to a minimum.
- Plain English. Results come with explanations and practical next steps, not just technical output.
How our tools work
Some tools run entirely in your browser (calculators, browser and WebRTC checks). Others use our own server (speed and latency tests, website checks), and some rely on reputable public services such as DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers and IP-data providers. The tools directory shows the status of each one.
Accuracy
Internet measurements are affected by many factors outside anyone's control – Wi-Fi, network congestion, server location and device performance. Treat results as a useful snapshot rather than a definitive verdict. Please read our disclaimer.
