Website Speed Test

Measure how quickly a website's server responds to a request from our server: each connection phase is timed separately so you can see where time is spent.

Tool status: Functional with limitations Works, but there are technical limits explained on the page.

Only public websites on standard ports (80/443) can be checked.

What this tool can and cannot do

Timings are measured from our hosting server's location, not from your device, and cover the main HTML document only (not images, scripts or rendering). For full page-rendering metrics (Core Web Vitals) the tool can optionally include Google PageSpeed Insights results when an API key is configured.

Data sources: Server-side request from our host · Google PageSpeed Insights API (optional)

Understanding the results

TTFB (time to first byte) under 200 ms is excellent, under 600 ms acceptable. High TTFB usually means slow server-side code, no caching, or an overloaded host.

Troubleshooting

  • Enable page caching, use a CDN, and keep your PHP/CMS versions up to date to reduce TTFB.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the result different from my own experience?

Distance matters. A server far from our test location will show higher connection times than for visitors nearby.
